Enigma Forced is a work of fiction in the terrorism thriller, suspense, and action genres, and is part of the Enigma Heirs series. It is best suited to the adult reading audience and contains some scenes of violence. Penned by author team Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey, this exciting work delves into the most challenging case yet for the Enigma Heirs as they confront profiteers preying on displaced individuals seeking freedom. Teens are abducted and sold into slavery, while cartels force young men into drug trafficking under threat of death. The R-Group and CATS team leaders strive to dismantle Mateo's inhuman business model, combating human exploitation and the opioid epidemic. The battle intensifies, with humanity's fate hanging in the balance, as the Enigma Heirs race against time to save lives and bring justice to those responsible.

Author team Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey have crafted an adrenaline-pumping novel filled with tension, action, and moral dilemmas. There’s a keen cinematic eye for description that brings the action to life with strong images and focus, and this gripping quality continues to deepen and become more detailed as the novel goes on. The depiction of human trafficking and drug abuse was chillingly realistic, highlighting the dark underbelly of society in an exciting way for the plot, yet it never felt sensationalized or disrespectful. I found myself deeply invested in the characters' struggles and rooting for their success against formidable odds, not least because of the compelling narrative style that lets us see the world through their eyes. The ethical complexities explored throughout the story were also substantial, but not overwhelming to the primary thriller plot, prompting introspection on the real-world issues long after you’ve set the book down. Overall, Enigma Forced captivated me with its compelling storyline and thought-provoking themes, and I’d certainly recommend it for action and thriller enthusiasts everywhere to enjoy.

Enigma Forced by Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey is a thriller that explores the dark realms of human exploitation and terrorism. In this second installment of the Enigma Heirs series, the R-Group and CATS team leaders confront their most challenging case, battling profiteers who prey on displaced individuals seeking freedom. Mateo, the ruthless antagonist, oversees a sinister operation that floods the streets with drugs and trades humans in the worst forms of inhumanity. As the death toll rises, the R-Group races against time to save victims, with tension escalating as each new atrocity is uncovered.

Breakfield and Burkey are great storytellers who have created an immersive tale with sophisticated characters, a complicated conflict, and an equally absorbing setting. The dreary landscape they paint is rife with betrayal, human trafficking, and corruption. Gracie, the leader of the R-Group, is a particularly compelling character. Her experience with kidnapping has left her with deep emotional scars, which she battles as she leads the mission to dismantle Mateo's crime syndicate. Her internal struggles are brilliantly written into the narrative. I enjoyed the dialogue and how it is used to build up the tension and infuse the narrative with drama. The relationship between Gracie and her twin, JJ, is beautifully written. Readers will also enjoy how the authors write about inter-agency cooperation in this book. Enigma Forced by Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey features cinematic writing. This fast-paced, engaging tale will grab the attention of readers with its resonant themes of human trafficking and the war against drugs, as well as the lovable heroes.

Enigma Forced by Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey is a gripping thriller that examines the dark world of human exploitation and terrorism. In this second installment of the Enigma Heirs series, the R-Group and CATS team leaders face their most challenging case as they confront profiteers preying on displaced individuals seeking freedom. Mateo’s ruthless business ensures drugs are loose on the streets and humans are sold and treated with the worst form of inhumanity. The death toll rises every day, and the R-Group must do all it can to save people from the epidemic. Tension builds with every passing moment as ruthless acts take place and dead bodies are found. Can they save a fraction of humanity from such cruelty?

Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey have crafted a narrative that is as resonant as it is complex. They introduce readers to a world where crime abounds and danger lurks everywhere. The world painted in this narrative is bleak, with crime, betrayals, and human trafficking. Gracie, who leads the R-Group, has experienced kidnapping before, and even if she has physically recovered, the internal scars are still there. The mission to take down Mateo and his crime syndicate is further compromised by the fact that influential people in the government are on Mateo’s payroll. Readers will enjoy following the characters as they are cleverly rendered, from the ruthless Mateo to Gracie and her fight to protect humanity. Other characters, such as JW, Gracie’s twin, JJ, Javier, and Julian, are also interesting. The authors examine timely issues such as human trafficking, drug smuggling, and the opioid epidemic. Through ingenious storytelling and dynamic character development, this novel pulls readers into a high-stakes battle to dismantle Mateo's inhuman business model and save innocent lives. Enigma Forced presents stellar writing, relatable characters, and a meticulously described setting.
