Mama's Love by Amelia Leith is a delightful story written from a child's view point where the author has written exactly how a child would talk, write and draw. The characters are Mama elephant and Baby elephant.

The story is beautiful. It is a good bedtime story and it depicts the love of a mother for her child. The author has narrated what happens in all the houses at night when the mother puts her baby to sleep. And when the story is over, the mother tucks her child into bed. The story is illustrated with some beautiful childlike drawings. The author has actually made it like a book written and illustrated by a child. That makes the book more appealing to young readers.

Mama's Love caters well to the age group the author has targeted. All children love to hear stories from their mothers before going to sleep. The book also speaks about the bonding between a mother and child, the love, caring and sharing they have for each other. It is a kind of reminiscing too for many parents whose kids have outgrown this stage of their lives.

Some of the illustrations are done by kids which makes it more genuine and endearing. It's very nice that the author has made children also contribute to this story, making them an integral part of the book. It is a beautiful idea to collaborate with children. It brings out the child within you.

"Mama's Love" is written by Amelia Leith. The book was created as a children's pop up book. A short story of a relationship between a mother and her child depicted as elephants, offering the feeling of love, compassion, and unity of a relationship, as well as how 3 little words can mean the world to a child. The layout and design of the book offers colorful hand drawings of a child with assistance from an adult. "Mama's Love" is a beautiful story for children to read before bedtime just as they are within the story. The story brings a sense of love and security, two things a child needs from their parents. I loved this story. I think it is very well-written for the age group it was designed for. The illustrations done by a child allows the book to be more reliable and comfortable for children wanting to read the story. All kids want is to be loved and also to hear it from their parents. They feel safe in knowing that their parents love them a lot.

This is a perfect bedtime story since it allows the sense of love and security to a child as lies down and relaxes in bed. This book reminded me of my own nightly routine with my two children. I would read this book to them as their bedtime story. Parents, grandparents and children alike can enjoy the pictures and the story of this cute, touching book.
