A superior officer that has a grudge against him has Jared committed to a military mental hospital where he is drugged and tortured. During Chase’s Sunday visits, he realizes that something is not right. Jared manages to escape just as Chase is locked in jail.

James Fredericks is a name to be reckoned with in the world of mysteries. His début novel, Brother, has all the signs of bestseller. Her takes legal thriller a step up the ladder of mystery novels. His writing is fresh and invigorating. Once I began reading this book, I was hooked. Trying to figure out what would happen next kept me eagerly turning pages. This author has a talent for weaving threads of plots together to create one fantastic read. The character development is outstanding. Even the secondary characters have depth. The plot of Brother moves along at a nice pace.
