Book Review
We often ask children what they want to be when they grow up.  Some may answer doctor, lawyer, chef, actor, firefighter, or a major league baseball player.  We all have a dream of what our future will be like.  Dr. William A. Kriva had a dream.  He wanted to be an astronaut.  For one reason or another we do not all get to live our dreams.  Kriva’s eyesight made him ineligible for space flight.  After ruling out the areas he was interested in Kriva settled on following in his father’s footsteps as an engineer.  He worked hard and quickly moved up the ladder.  But he wasn’t happy and his health was poor.  Suddenly he heard a small voice say, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?” Kriva returned to school and studied chiropractic medicine.  He found happiness contentment.

Kriva continues his book by discussing Innate Intelligence or gut feelings.  He explains how our Innate Intelligence is talking to us all the time and we need to learn to listen.

The gist of this book is being happy and content in what you do.  One illustration really struck me.  A man worked at a job he hated for many years.  He lived to retire.  Unfortunately he died a few weeks after retirement.  He wasted all those years.

Let Your Innate Sing is a small book.  It won’t take you long to read it, however you will want to read it time and again.  The advice is thoughtful.  Learn to listen to your inner voice.  Let it guide you.  Don’t spend time making ulcers and being miserable.  Step out and seek happiness now.

This book is quick and easy to read but contains a powerful, life changing message. I used the tools outlined in this book and learned some valuable things about myself and my chosen career. Dr. Kriva's story encourages me to step out in faith and utilize my gifts and skills in new ways. If you are "stuck" in your job, this book is a MUST read.

This is a phenominal book. I could relate to every personal experience and could remember times in my life at which I faced similar circumstances. I was very motivated, and moved by the courage and willingness to Dr. Kriva had to follow his dreams - at the possibility of losing everything - even with a wife and 4 young children. We've all heard the sayiings "Follow your heart", "Listen to that inner voice." Dr. Kriva explains very clearly how he did that, and how you can do it too. For anyone who is in need of direction in their life or is simply seeking or desiring a change, I would highly recommend you put this book at the top of your list - it is a must! Because many times the answer you seek is already within you, you just have to listen to it singing. Thank you Dr. Kriva for writing and sharing your personal story.

After reading this book, I noticed a difference. It was like waking up to breakfast in bed. It was amazing. It took me a moment to realize that it was a feeling of change. Good change. A change in knowledge. A gain in knowledge. Helpful knowledge that most people don't have. I think that if anyone read this book, they would notice something similar. I highly recommend this book for all who are seeking careers, as this story contains many helpful tips, as well as the story of Dr. William A. Kriva's life.

A fantastic read for anyone contemplating a major life change. The author Dr. Kriva shares his inspirational story and gives readers the tools to discovering their innate intelligence. If you are one of those people that gets up every morning and hates going to their job you must read this book.
