Ruth Seidle returned to Eureka Springs, Florida to settle the estate of her Aunt Virgie. She planned to sell her aunt’s old Victorian house. Until she discovered the house is mortgaged and there was no insurance. She has 2 options turn the house over to the bank, or stay in the house, fix it up and attempt to sell. Staying would mean finding a job in Eureka Springs.

Widower, John Vickers has returned home to Eureka Springs with daughter. She was killed in an automobile accident returning from her evening out with another man. John wants to begin a life with his daughter. Eureka Springs seems like a good place to start over. He helped Ruth’s aunt when she became ill. He was like the son she’d never had.

Ruth crashes into Johns car and his life. He makes her heart do flip flops until she meets his daughter. She thinks he is a married man and she has sworn off all married men.

I was immediately captivated by this book. I stayed up all night reading. The secondary characters played an excellent roll in the book. Fans of romance will enjoy Eureka Springs.
