Book Review
"Selene’s Guiding Light" is the story of a mentally ill man, Don, who suffers a complete breakdown after the death of Ariel. The story is told from the point of view of Don’s delusional mind and we watch as reality slowly breaks through his delusional world.
This book is not a stand-alone; you must read the first book in the series to understand the plot.
I know someone who is mentally ill, on meds he`s okay; off meds he lives in his own tortured world. I’ve never truly understood what he was facing or how to react when I am with him. "Selene’s Guiding Light" sheds a bit of light on the confused mind of the mentally ill. This book seems extremely confusing, but there is a reason. The schizophrenic mind is a confusing place.
Greg Bauder is to be commended for his art. He speaks from experience.
