"Remy The Rhino Learns Patience" is an adorable story about a grumpy rhino. Remy is not only grouchy, he has a bad temper and no patience. When Remy’s horn becomes stuck in a tree he must depend on an aardvark to help him. The aardvark calls on termites to eat the tree. There’s just one problem, each time Remy becomes agitated, the termites get scared and run away. Remy learns to stand still and wait patiently as birds land on him, and leopards climb on him. He stands still during the rain and thunder. Slowly he learns to relax.

Preschool children will love this story. The illustrations are delightful. The colors are relaxing and demonstrate patience in their own way. Andy McGuire is a brilliant artist and author.
