Book Review
Sister Renee Pittelli shares part of her story in the introduction. Her purpose for writing this book is to help adults that are victims of abuse. Our hearts cry out when we hear about child abuse but we often over look the fact that adults can also be victims of abuse. As Christians we struggle with setting boundaries. We are taught to honor our mother and father, love our enemies, forgive and forget and vengeance is mine says the Lord. So what does the adult do when victimized by a family member?
Pittelli offers sound advice. She discusses a variety of topics that all lead back to being Christian that has been or is being abused. She answers the questions of what about holidays, working in a family business, apologies, reconciling, and death. She offers 102 questions to ask yourself before ending a relationship. There are 21 Rules to No Contact.
This book is written in an easy to read and understand manner. It is well organized. The information within the pages can change lives.
