I have been reading Christian living books for a number of years, so I am very familiar with Karol Ladd's books. I have read several of them, and I have always trusted her books to be rich with Biblical truth and her signature loving writing style. A Woman's Passionate Pursuit of God is a nice addition to her extensive collection of books for women.

I liked the fact that the main focus of the book comes from the book of Philippians, and that each chapter focuses on just a few verses from that book of the Bible. That helped to focus on the writing and the overall reading experience. This book is highly interactive with questions for the reader, additional verses of scripture, and plenty of room for taking notes and reflection. Overall, this is a very good book and a worthwhile read.
