Bingo Explores The Farm by Julia King is a magnificent book for all children ages three years old and up. The story is about a farm cat who goes exploring for a day of adventure. As we follow him through the fields where he finds an old run down car, to the barn where there are some strange smells and funny looking grass, his adventures take him to places that maybe he should not be, especially when he sees strange animals that are way bigger than he. But when he meets the little boy who lives on the farm, Bingo now knows he has found a friend with whom to play.

This is a wonderfully written book and has some of the most beautiful pictures in it that will delight even the youngest reader. Does your child have a cat, or any other animal, as a pet? If so, I think he/she will enjoy this story of Bingo, the farm cat. It is a small book that can be read in a short time and not cause the child to lose interest. At the end of the book there are a group of ten questions to help the child learn about what he/she has read and other objects to identify to help one learn. This is a must for a child’s home library where a little one can grow up reading it for quite some time.
