Wine at Noon by M.B. Audrey is a fast-paced mystery, full of thrills and the spice of romance in the truest sense of the word. As Harry Crawford begins our tale, you fall right into his head and stay there for the entire novel. As he travels from city to city in Europe, the reader discovers the hidden nuances of the artistic world.

The writing style of Wine at Noon was wonderfully complex, yet descriptive enough to create that "movie in your head" which can be hard for many authors to achieve. Not so for M.B. Audrey, whose diction and phrasing are both eloquent and flow easily off the tongue (or through the eyes, as it were). I felt fully engrossed in the Roman landscapes and the bustle of London, as well as the flow and patter between each character and their surroundings. Dialogue in particular flowed wonderfully and with great care in how it reflected on the characters and the book as a whole.

Wine at Noon is a great read that sort of defies genres. Yes, it's a mystery, but it also felt more literary than your average thriller. Through its lyrical prose and enthralling characterization, the novel makes you think about it all day long so that you're just itching to pick it up after a long day of work. M.B. Audrey is not a name that I would have picked out of the crowd, but after reading this one, you can bet I'll be watching for new works from this author.

This is a great book I picked up because of the "wine" and my travels in Europe! It makes great reading for someone who likes a real caper and story with real characters. The story evolves in cities that we all have either visited or want to visit and the intricate nature of these human relationships make the story that much more interesting. I could not put this book down -too curious to see the denoument of the main characters - love, self destruction, greed and survival of the fittest. Good to read with a good glass of chilled Chardonnay...

"Wine at Noon" is a beautifully told story in which the reader journies into the adventures of Harry Crawford.
The words are so artistically placed that the reader feels, and can actually visualize every beautiful scene which the author trying ro convey.
While reading the story, it made me smile, laugh, and at times bought a tear to my eye.
I recommend this beautifully written story very highly.
I suggest that whoever reads it, gives a copy to the people they love.
