Moonlight On The Shenandoah by Christine Poe is a paranormal romance. Azure Clarke is a genealogist who has nobody but her Great-Uncle Warren and her cat. Warren hires Azure to help him track down a letter that could hold the key to unlocking family secrets. She finds herself in Royal Oak but her search is interrupted by a ghost and Benjamin Fisher, a rather handsome attorney. Benjamin hasn’t gotten over his wife’s death, believing he is responsible for it. Visiting his grandmother in Royal Oak, he finds himself drawn to Azure but when odd things begin happening, supernatural things, he vows to never let another woman die. The ghost is Jesse Fisher; his soul needs saving and his murder needs to be solved. Benjamin is a direct descendant of Jesse and the ghost needs everyone to know the truth about how he died. If Ben and Azure happen to fall for each other as well, then he won't have suffered for nothing.

Moonlight On The Shenandoah by Christine Poe is a fabulous read. This is a unique story in this genre, with the threads of the past and the present woven delicately together. A modern love story, an enduring tale of love through the years and an old murder – what more could you possibly want in a story? Perhaps a smidgeon of jealousy, greed, sadness, and happiness – this book really does have it all. It is written well and you are drawn in from the first page, caught in a web of intrigue that will keep you reading right to the very end. An emotional blend of the past and the present; you won’t put this gripping story down.
