Abby Wilcox was happily married for ten years. She had a wonderful husband, two wonderful daughters. Then one day her husband brought a client home for dinner. She had no way of knowing the nightmare that lay ahead of her.

Ray Carter knew all about the Wilcox family long before he met them. Two days after the dinner Ray targeted Abby. He used her brother to manipulate her. Her brother was a heroin addict. He forced Abbey to leave her husband in order to save her family and friends. She was forced to leave her husband a Dear John letter. Her husband suspects something is wrong.

Ray uses Abby to rob a bank he tells her that her and her brother can go free after the job is completed and she can have some of the money, of course it is all a ruse. She takes some of the money and runs. Ray comes after her to retrieve the money and shut her up.
This book will keep the reader on the edge of their seat. I couldn’t read fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. This would make an amazing movie this would make. Mr. Cooke has written an outstanding thriller. I look forward to reading others book by this author.
