It is positioned to attract the attention of our thousands of weekly visitors, many of whom are agents, publishers and publicists who are here viewing reviews we have done for their authors or submitting requests for new reviews. We are also visited by bloggers and journalists who have read our press releases and are visiting to see our Award Winning books, as well as authors and people just looking for a good book to read.
We do not sell this advertising space, we provide it to our authors as a perk for purchasing any of our Author Services to help them promote their book. By not selling the space we keep the number of images down, which provides those in the rotator more screen time.
How much does it cost?
The cost for conversion is $1.00 per page for books with more than 30,000 words. Books with fewer than 30,000 words are charged a flat fee of $100.
You will receive the professional formatted digital versions of your book, step-by-step instructions on how to upload your book to Apple’s iBookstore (iPad), Amazon’s Kindle store (Kindles and Kindle apps), Barnes & Noble's Pubit (Nook), Sony Reader Store (Sony eReader) and sideloading instructions for mobile devices, plus one month of advertising in our Featured Book rotator.
The average number of words for a printed page range from 250 to 300. We use the high end so there are fewer pages, which saves you money. Please enter your book's word count in the box below to see exactly what it will cost to convert your book.
Your word processor will have an option to display your word count. If you can't find it, Google your word processor's name and "word count" for instructions.
Optional Fixed-Layout Conversion for Illustrated Books
For those authors who want to convert a picture book for children there is a new conversion style called Fixed-Layout. Most picture books need their text in a certain font, size and position next to images, or even on those images. To preserve the look of your book you need the Fixed-Layout style, which is currently supported by the Apple iPad and now the Kindle Fire 8. You do not need to order a fixed layout conversion if you have a picture book, but it is recommended to maintain your book's proper aesthetics.

How to calculate the word count to enter in the payment form
Our form requires a word count to calculate your payment. For the iPad fixed-layout conversion, multiply your total number of pages by 1200 (300 words per page x 4 = 1200 or $4 per page). For the Kindle Fire 8 fixed-layout conversion, multiply your total number of pages by 900 (300 words per page x 3 = 900 or $3 per page). For both iPad AND Kindle Fire 8 fixed-layout conversions, multiply your total number of pages by 2100 (300 words per page x 7 = 2100 or $7 per page).
Remember, all fixed layout conversions come with standard conversions for the other readers.
How do I order a conversion?
To order a conversion all you have to do is submit the form below with your attached book in either Microsoft Word (preferred), RTF or PDF (if you need to send a different version just let us know). If your file is over 19mb (often the case for picture books) just complete the form and let us know in the comments box and we will contact you with instructions on how to upload the file to us.
We will stay in touch with you as your book is converted. Conversions generally take about 2 weeks and we, as well as the good people at AtriTex, will work with you until you are 100% satisfied.
