It had been years since Katie had seen Jake, but she still remembers the crush she had on him in high school. Jake was in town to assist with the purchase of a valuable piece of real estate. Both Katie and Jake had inherited the Sandstone. Jake had big plans for the real estate. He planned to tear down the old house. Katie was falling in love with the old house. The town believed the house was haunted. Jake didn’t believe in ghosts, but strange things had been happening since Katie had returned. Together they search for the reason for the haunting. Their feelings for each other are undeniable. Jake learns a lesson. “A home is not a house…..it was everything he dreamed of.”
Rachel McNeely is a talented author. She manages to capture her readers and draw them into her tale. Her characters come to life and seem to jump off the page. I was on the edge of my seat, eagerly turning pages to see what would happen next. It is easy to recommend Sandstone Legacy.
