Author Biography
Jennifer Chase holds a bachelor degree in police forensics and a master's degree in criminology. In addition, she holds certifications in serial crime and criminal profiling. She is also an affiliate member in the criminology section of the Academy of Behavioral Profiling (ABP).

Jennifer is an author, freelance writer, and criminologist. She has recently authored two thriller novels "Compulsion" and "Dead Game". In addition, she currently assists clients in ghostwriting, book reviews, blogs, articles, screenwriting, copywriting, editing, and research.

Jennifer was born and raised in California where she currently resides with her husband, two dogs, and two cats. She developed a love for books and writing at an early age. Jennifer has an intense curiosity about crime and the varied connections between the actual crime and the criminal mind. This propelled her to return to school and earn a master's degree in criminology. Her academic background has helped to prepare her to write in the thriller and true crime genres.

Book Review
Emily Stone has a talent for putting together pieces of evidence and recognizing things that elude law enforcement. She does not want any recognition, because it will interfere with her investigations. Her main goal is to track serial killers and put them away. As a civilian, she works alone. Anonymously, she sends an email with all the evidence she has collected to the police or the FBI. In Compulsion, she is on the track of a pair of killers. They may be closer than she thinks.

Compulsion is one of those books you will not want to lay down until you have read every page. The suspense is strong. This is a thriller, yet it is not done in an over-the-top manner. Jennifer Chase has the unique talent of character development. She allows readers to slowly get to know the characters. The reader will find himself inside the mind of not one--but two serial killers. I look forward to more books by this author.

I am not usually a thriller reader, but, once I started reading, I could not put this book down. It is a must read....
