Book Review
Middle School students will get a completely new understanding of Revelations from A Significant Life and Purgatory. Written in a simple easy-to-understand style, Brian Nelson takes readers on a journey through the end days. The plot follows prophecy through the anti-Christ, False Prophet, and rapture. The characters demonstrate the temptation to accept the worldly “way out.” Scripture tells us that these are only earthly bodies. Many will pay with their lives in the end days only to gain eternal life.
Brian Nelson has great potential as a writer. He takes a difficult topic and makes it comprehensible. The characters demonstrate loyalty and faith.

Fearlessly tackling a subject that's been speculated about as long as the Church has existed, Nelson succeeds in positing a unique perspective. In a 160 page novel, the author distills his wry concept of the Revelation, maintaining his distinctive voice throughout. Is the end of the age going to come about as Nelson supposes? Probably not. But it could.
