Why do some people suffer more than others is a question many have asked over the years. I believe the answer lies with the Lord. Perhaps I will ask Him when I am worshiping Him in eternity.
Vanessa Richardson has suffered much through her life. The Certain Ones is her story and the answers she found. I do not totally agree with her answers, but she does state them well. She begins each chapter with the story of a chosen woman. She uses the scripture, “Many are called, but few are chosen” to describe her situation.
She believes the “Certain” ones are the chosen ones. “Certain Ones” have much to overcome in their lives. Vanessa Richardson pours out her heart in The Certain Ones. She is to be admired for her faith, courage, and steadfastness.
