Book Review R. C. Ryan is a brand new author to me. This story was a fast read. I liked the story line. The cover is wonderfully illustrated and gives the reader a glimpse of what lies ahead in "Montana Glory".
Zane and Riley, the main characters, are funny, at times, serious and then, of course,in a sensual relationship. Zane could never be called a gentleman. He was forceful and would just grab Riley and smash a kiss on her. Good thing this is fiction; in real life he’d get his face slapped. Personally, I prefer romance.
The plot was interesting but the language took away from the tale. The story line was strong enough to stand on its own without the language. There is plenty of adjectives that can be used to describe a character’s feelings, without stooping to vulgarity. This book only gets three stars from me. Clean up the language and you’ve got a nice fast read. |
