Book Review JJ is teamed up with Elena to stop …an al-Qaida attack, fringe religious group starting a war and drug wars all at the border. Their mission is to stop the terrorist before they reach the border and take the leader captive and smuggle him into the US.
The plot of Port of Entry is the stuff headlines are made of, but it fall short. The plot does not flow smoothly. I think the author tried to take on too much in one book. Port of Entry is filled with action, romance, and a bit of humor. The author brings a sense of expertise to the topic. This is an enjoyable read. |

J.P. Lintz, Sr. takes the reader on a journey filled with mystery, intrigue, action, romance and food. (Yes, food). Anyone who has ever dreamed about leading a secret life of international intrigue and adventure will love living vicariously through this dynamic duo, JJ and Elena, as they drive, fly and eat their way back and forth between Mexico and the United States. Equally satisfying is the food for thought that is served up through the real-life contemporary socio-political issues underlying the page-turning action . I'm anxiously awaiting a sequel in which JJ and Elena might taste adventure in faraway exotic lands...
