Book Review
Each day, we hear of a new religion/cult. Kenneth Boa suggests more are developing in part due to the lack of spirituality in many Christian churches.
Items discussed"
The history of each religious movement
• The distinctive teachings of each
• How their followers live
• How you can respond to these spiritual counterfeits with biblical truth and compassion
Cults, world Religions and the Occult is written from the Christian perspective. It is divided into 4 major sections. Boa discusses the history and beliefs of each religion along with Biblical evaluation and "points of interest to Christians." Boa presents the information in a simple, concise manner. Several of the religions were new to me. The charts in the last section of the book are especially helpful. I found the information fascinating. This book would be helpful for all Christians, especially pastors and teachers.
