Book Review
Beth is an unfaithful wife. She loves her husband Mark but craves the excitement of an affair. Men rarely resist her seductive ways. Then, she meets Abbott. The handsome man tries to tell her he is not interested, but she won’t listen. Eventually, they end up at her house. The more Abbott resists her, the harder Beth tries to seduce him. Abbott is not interested in sex. He has something different in mind.

Basic Instinct came to mind as I read High Risk. Rick R. Reed brings fear and terror to his readers in his latest book, High Risk. The tension slowly begins to build and finally is brought to a climax that will grip the reader.

I am not a professional reviewer but I am an avid reader. After reading this book you are left wondering do I know my spouse or significant other as well as I think I do?? A great story of how events in our childhood can effect us as adults. My heartrate increased with the turn of each page. This book has twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat like a good movie! I could definitely relate to Beth and what led to her behavior. You will think twice before you pick up a stranger for a qucik thrill. I was captivated from beginning to end. This is a book that you can't put down. I can't wait to read more from this author!

It has been some time, since I last read a book that left me gasping for air. Rick Reed has managed to create a work that makes your skin crawl... all the while you simply can not look away. Real life, real people you can relate to and horrible situations. High Risk by Rick Reed will blow out your literary cobwebs.

Wow - what an amazing book! I picked this up with the intention of reading a chapter or two last Saturday morning but was completely swept away by it. I didn't stop reading until I reached the end - and with its brisk language and driving pace that meant just a few hours later. The premise should grab the attention of any married man or woman who has contemplated - even for a moment - the idea of infidelity. The author spins the idea into an extremely frightening Fatal Attraction type of scenario in which the man the adulterous wife decides to bring home is a complete sociopath who sets out to destroy her life. It's an absolutely horrifying - and perfectly written - book. Rick Reed is one of the best thriller writers working today. Readers should also check out IM - which is another one of those oh-God-what-is-going-to-happen now books that completely captivates and chills. If you like suspense, you should put several of Reed's books at the top of your list!

Well, if you're gonna go trolling there's always the possibility that you're gonna be at the wrong place at the wrong time and pick up the wrong guy. Bad enough if you've got a bad reputation, but devastating if you're happily married and everyone thinks you're the sweetest, kindest person they've ever met. High Risk is a rollercoaster ride that builds you up and up and then picks up speed and pins you to the back of your seat. This book was a great find and I enjoyed every minute of it. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
