Laura and Aaron discover that their darling, little adopted daughter is actually a kidnapped child. They fear losing her yet know they need more information. Their investigation into the adoption agency stirs up trouble. The Black Angel comes knocking threatening death. Through this frightening and trying time, Laura and Aaron rediscover their love for each other.
Kidnapped by Rita Karnopp is a thriller. The characters have their own distinct voice. You could see the flaws in Aaron and Laura, and as the story progresses you see them mature and grow. This is a plot that could easily be ripped from the headlines. The scenes where Aaron goes with Dan to the Rainbow were a bit unrealistic; however, that did not spoil this book for me. Kidnapped is an entertaining read.
