A young woman named Samantha Palmer and her brother Marshall venture from their hometown in Texas to the woods of upper New York state to stay with their aunt. Seeking something different in life following a breakup with her former boyfriend, 25-year-old Samantha is more than ready for a fresh start. However, when she arrives at her aunt's house, she is more than a little startled to not only 'bump' into her former boyfriend, but to stumble upon a mystery that will entice her, her brother, and her old boyfriend onto a path to unravel long-buried family secrets. Those secrets cause her to join forces with her former boyfriend to solve the mystery. The problem is that some secrets lie deep, and these secrets may endanger not only Samantha's life, but the life of her brother and boyfriend as well.
