Author Biography

Is 62 years old and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Since 1980, Forrest has been working in the Environmental Contracting and Remedial Services Industry. Forrest has seen many successes while working in this industry, including, but not limited to a patent, the development of several proprietary technologies, and many unique and innovative successes in the remediation of hazardous and contaminated wastes. Forrest also has career experience in the Logging and oil Refining Industry.

When Forrest is not working, he spends his time writing about and searching for his missing babysitter. This has been and continues to be a very challenging and frustrating undertaking for his part, as he is continually faced with attempting to extract information from people that do not or will not provide the information regarding his missing babysitter. This is because of their complicity in the alleged cover up of the disappearance and murder of his babysitter. Most of these people are supposed to be regarded as symbols of authority, but seem to fall far short of deserving that moniker.

More than 50 years ago, a 12-year-old girl was brutally raped, abused, killed, and buried in a lot in the 44 Ranch. Through all of this, there was one witness, five-year old Forrest Canutt. All about Janet: The Story of My Missing Babysitter details the things that Forrest saw all those years ago, and his efforts years later to find his missing babysitter. It includes the story, all the news clippings, forms submitted, and email correspondence between Forrest and the institutions that might help him in obtaining information to locate Janet K. Cash, the missing babysitter.

I can’t help cringing and grimacing when I read what happened to Janet and Forrest that unfortunate night years ago. They were so young and I can’t really understand why three grown men would do such heinous things. I’m torn between wishing Forrest didn’t have to remember all those things and being glad that there is someone looking for Janet even after all these years. All About Janet: The Story of My Missing Babysitter is an eye opener. I’m not completely ignorant of all the evils in the world. I watch movies and news, but what they did to the kids was downright bad. If it wasn’t for Forrest Canutt, who would remember her? Who would care enough to look for her? I commend the writer for his efforts to look for his babysitter. Sometimes it might feel like there’s no hope but if he keeps persevering then all the work will pay off and he will finally get the closure that he is looking for.
