This book is amazing, in the sense that the author Jason O'Neill, at the early age of nine, did something about an idea he had to earn money. It is written in a simple way that makes it easy to understand.

He goes a step further and makes his dream come true. Now he takes his story from elementary schools to colleges to motivate others to follow his example.

And what does he have to say? In his book entitled Bitten by the Business Bug he tells us the answer: “Anyone, including kids, can do amazing things, but you cannot get anywhere by sitting on your ideas. Regardless of your age, you need to take action. Stop just thinking about it and start doing something. You may surprise yourself. I did!”

This young child wants to earn some money and gets an idea after he tries to convince his mom to let him have half of her profits if he helps her. She is making doorstops to sell at a fair, and he wants to paint them. She says no, and that he needs to come up with his own product. That is exactly what he does. As a result, his creates a pencil topper and makes two dozen pencil bugs that he sends to his grandmother to sell at the fair.

To his surprise, she sells all of them while only selling two doorstops. One day, he takes one of his creations to school and many of the kids want one. He soon starts taking orders, but it doesn’t stop there. He has kids volunteering to advertise, to sell and to even make them for him. All of them will do so just for a free pencil. He even has a boy in the fourth grade offer to buy his business for $100.

He also helps the kids with friendly tips, like “We all need a little push or extra motivation once in awhile. Just remember to be who you are. Unfortunately, some people do not know who they are, what they are good at, or what they want to be.” I would have to say that this kid has something there.

In this book, you will find all the steps from how to make the product to how to apply for a business license when you are a minor. The ideas and the way of how to accomplish what you want in your life, no matter what it is, is all here. All the reader has to do is to put it in practice and see the results. I recommend this book to all kids and adults who want to take their dreams to a more fulfilling level.
