Archangel: The Book of Mammon by Black Mike is the first book in the Archangel Fantasy Thriller series. Special Agent Michael Lieberman heads up the anti-terrorism unit, and his next case is about to lead him down a strange, demonic path that reveals his heritage. Detective Sara Wilson doesn't see the same as Lieberman sees, but she soon discovers a link between his case and a murder case she is investigating. Drawn into the investigation, she must face her past as they draw nearer to the answers, and the deeper Lieberman goes, the faster he pulls Sara in with him. The closer they get to one another, the harder it becomes to turn away from their past lives. Can they save each other, or will their pasts and the truth consume them?

Dan Brown, step aside. Black Mike has taken your crown with Archangel: The Book of Mammon, a compelling, action-packed fantasy thriller. This book grabs you from the first page and holds tight as it whisks you off on a roller-coaster ride you won't forget in a hurry. It's a fun read with plenty of serious action, twists and turns, romance, and humor, all wrapped up in a mysterious fantasy. The characters are amazing, built up, and developed to a degree where readers get to know them and understand their backstories, and the interaction between the two main characters is second to none. This detective story has a strong paranormal element, is unpredictable, and has an ending you won't see coming. Fantastic story and I'm really looking forward to reading book 2.

Archangel: The Book of Mammon by Black Mike is an extraordinary fantasy. Agent Michael Lieberman and his team have a terrorist under surveillance. Michael gets a glimpse of a familiar face during his shift, but the suspect just disappears. Officer Sara Wilson and Detective Bryan Overstreet are investigating a criminal case related to the terrorist activity that Michael is tracking. A billionaire named Robert Hug was killed in a playground, and a photo of their suspect is the one Michael is looking for. Michael finally meets the familiar face of Gabriel, who introduces him to a world where spirits and demons live among humans. Gabriel decides that the best way to convince Michael that he is an archangel is to knock him off the balcony. Michael has to make a quick decision: die or fly. Michael and Sara's investigation forces Michael to introduce Sara to his new world.

Archangel has an extraordinary plot and held my attention from the beginning. Black Mike’s writing style had me intrigued in this page-turner. The storyline was fast-paced and easy to follow. The events were described in detail, and I could see them unfolding in my mind's eye. All the action had me on the edge of my seat, and the suspense had me biting my nails. The twists and turns added to the tension. There was no way I could guess what would happen next. The characters were exceptionally well developed. They were strong and comfortable with themselves. The chemistry between Michael and Sara was a joy to follow. The story is excellently written. Real life and fantasy are intertwined in a way that makes it seem natural. The action, fantasy, and humor were only a few of the elements that made the book such an enjoyable read.

Archangel: The Book of Mammon by Black Mike is a fantasy thriller that shows the world has other forces at play. Michael Lieberman, an FBI agent, learns he is half-mortal, half-angel. With this revelation, he discovers the world is about more than what meets the eye. By looking through the veil and seeing the spirit world, he perceives both evil and good spirits co-existing within the mortal world. Little does he know that there exists the evilest being of the spirit realm, a being more sinister than Lucifer, the archdemon of greed - Mammon. While navigating his newfound powers, Michael must try to defeat Mammon, whose influence runs deep in the mortal world, while trying to protect those closest to him. This epic tale shows the power of both the human and the immortal.

Archangel: The Book of Mammon by Black Mike is an excellent supernatural novel that makes one aware of how the world is not always as it seems. It is amazing how Black Mike writes about religion, Christianity, and spirituality in a way that doesn’t disrespect anyone’s views or beliefs. This is depicted when Michael expresses his views on religion as a child. The book beautifully demonstrates how humans make their own decisions and are not just influenced by unseen beings. Black Mike presents a wonderfully written book that I recommend to lovers of the supernatural. This one is a must-read!

Archangel: The Book of Mammon is the first book in the Archangel fantasy series by Black Mike. The story follows special agent Michael Lieberman who is having a little trouble; he can see strange, dark things attached to people and it is messing with his head. Michael needs to keep his head in the game and focus on the new homicide case he is heading up with police detective Sara Wilson. However, the deeper they delve into the case, the more Michael realizes how bad things are. To make matters worse, Michael discovers that he is half-human, half-archangel and the black things he can see are demons, spearheaded by the terrifying archdemon Mammon. As luck would have it, Michael and Sara's homicide case is connected to Mammon’s nefarious plan and only Michael can stop the demon before it is too late. But before that, Michael will have to master his new powers and embrace them completely. Can he do that?

An entertainer from start to finish, Archangel is a thrilling urban fantasy that offers the best of everything. It has suspense, drama, mystery, thrills, action, romance, and best of all, a superstar protagonist that had me hooked from the moment he was introduced. As Black Mike's lead character, Michael is everything I expected him to be and so much more. I loved how frustrated he was by his new powers, and when his wings give him trouble the humor is an unexpected yet welcome addition. His wings may have been troublesome but I could find no fault in his flaming sword which was more than intimidating. The fast pace of the story complements Michael’s development and reflects his strong mind which remains unfazed by what is happening around him. Quick to adapt to his situation, he and Sara work together as a team and make an effort to accomplish their quest. I cannot wait for the next novel in the series!

Archangel: The Book of Mammon is the first book in the Archangel series by Black Mike. ‘Wake up, Michael.’ A mysterious voice calls out to Michael Lieberman during one of his stakeouts. Michael’s department had been working hard on their case investigating illegal arms dealers and his exhaustion due to his working hours could explain the strange things he had seen and experienced recently. Little did he know that things were not as they seemed. During Michael’s investigation, he was introduced to his ‘lucky star’ in the form of Officer Sara Wilson. The link between their two cases formed a connection and soon the two of them were traversing unexpected and impossible situations. In the process, Sara and Michael realized that there may be a bigger threat than they first believed.

Action-packed, suspenseful, and mystical, Archangel was an electrifying read right from the start. I was already on tenterhooks after reading the prologue. I was drawn in and stayed for the first-class plot and exceptional characters. The thrilling sequences and engrossing narrative left me with great anticipation for the next chapter. Sara and Michael took me on an adventure I will never forget. I was intrigued by their investigations, the supernatural elements, and by the amazing twists Black Mike skillfully weaved into the story. Michael’s character growth and the secrets he unearthed along the way left me captivated by the vision and unusual tone of the story. As the first book in a series, there will be more to discover and I cannot wait. It was an enthralling, fiery story and I am but a moth drawn to the flame.
