Mrs. Christian ran a home-based daycare center and she had taught hundreds and hundreds of children about good manners, God's Word, and how to apply it in their lives along with school work. Mrs. Christian made sure that everything was in order for 6.30 a.m. when the children came. They recited the Lord's Prayer or the 23rd Psalm daily and they chose to play the favorite song of the kids using instruments. The children loved this time; playing the drum, tambourine, maracas, cymbals, or anything they could lay their little hands on. Mrs. Christian's mission was not just about running the daycare - she also wanted to guide children to have a personal bonding with God. A lot of hands shot up that Monday morning to read the Scriptures because whoever read the scriptures first and correctly was always rewarded with a special treat from the treasure chest. Jacob was the first one to raise his hand and he recited last week's scripture. How did Mrs. Christian explain to the children the concept of Ask, Seek, and Knock?

Ask, Seek and Knock (Mrs. Christian's Daycare) by Tiffiney Rogers-McDaniel is a profound and insightful book that will teach children to believe in God and have faith in Him in an engaging way without sounding preachy. The illustrations add clarity to what the author is trying to convey, and makes the topic palpable to readers. It is a good story to help children have faith in God and ask him for whatever they want in their lives because that is what God wants them to do; Ask, Seek and Knock. Tutors and parents can use this story for read-aloud and storytelling sessions in classrooms and at homes to teach children to believe in the power and presence of God in their lives. It is also a good story to use in Bible classes to teach them the concept of Ask, Seek, and Knock.
