Bella is the mother of three very active puppies: Abbey, Emma, and Freddy. They played all day and night, having little time to rest. Bella was worried that they wouldn't grow as they should and that she had no time to rest. She came up with the idea of telling them bedtime stories before they went to bed. This, she thought, would make them focused and also worn out enough to go to sleep. This idea was fantastic, as the puppies always looked forward to the stories, learned important lessons, and were tired at the end of the story, which helped them sleep well, thereby giving Bella her much-needed rest. These stories are fables passed down from generation to generation, each of them having their own peculiarities. Bella's Fables, a children's book by Deb Evans, contains life lessons that help build young readers' characters.

The first thing I loved about Bella's Fables is the simple style of writing. It is straightforward and very understandable in the way the fables are introduced into the story and the lessons they portray. Children can learn a lot about kindness, togetherness, wittiness, and the consequences of greed, pride, and looking down on others. Bella's Fables can also serve as a means of improving children's vocabulary. Another point of interest is the acknowledgment of the Greek storyteller, Aesop, who was first known for his collection of fables. There is also an activity section for children, where different games and activities are included for their enjoyment. Bella's Fables is a wonderful book for young readers. I recommend it to children between the ages of 4 and 9.
