The Devil's worst assassin is on a killing spree with women as his target. This deadly demon possesses random men and uses their mindless bodies to perform his killings, but that's not even his end game. His actual target is a group of research doctors trying to find the cure for cancer, whom he intends to obliterate with an ancient poison with no known antidote. Another John Hart installation with yet another psychotic extra-terrestrial adversary. The Hart Group will need to bring in their best professional prowess, machinery, and financial resources to send this demon back to hell or worse. John will need the help of his powerful friend, Mr. Black, but even his spiritual and physical allies don't seem to be a match for the Wraith of Hell. But try they must, until the end.

Black's Spot is a riveting supernatural thriller that quickly piqued my interest from the first scene. The evil reputation of Simulacra and the danger he posed to John Hart, the group, and his team of doctors is intriguing and afforded a lot of action and suspense. Lou L. Berthelson punctuated the narration with funny conversations and a beautiful display of brotherhood and camaraderie that is nothing short of heartwarming. The Hart Group is a team of funny, endearing characters; they felt real and relatable, despite the peculiarity of their position and encounters. The combat scenes leap out of the pages and keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a well-crafted, fast-paced, heartwarming, and funny narrative about humans, angels, and demons.
