Author Biography

I was born Jacqueline Pansy in 1953 to parents who were traveling with a small circus. The name of the Circus we traveled with was: Clyde Beatty Shows and the movie “Ring of Fire” featured his circus.
After graduating from high school I took dance and ended up having a nine year career as a dancer which included a USO tour for our troops. God Bless our Troops for keeping us safe!
Writing and illustrating children’s stories, was something I started for my nieces and nephews after giving up dancing. Writing has become my passion. It touches my heart and I feel humbled when parents tell me that their child will pick my books to read again and again, over all the other books they have to pick from. I have also written a book about menopause that will have you laughing out loud as you read it, but I mostly write for children.

Blaize and Zandia's Revenge by Jacqueline Pansy is a delightful story book for children, filled with adventure, whimsy and suspense that make it a compelling read. The equation between Blaize and Zandia has changed. They are not best friends anymore. Blaize is astonished to see the change in her once best friend Zandia, who now is filled with jealousy and hatred, and wants to destroy Fairy Land. Blaize still cares for Zandia and is trying to save the forest, along with the help of the fairies. In the meanwhile, Zandia travels to Beakmoo Forest and meets up with an angry old giant, Jeb. She shows him the way to Fairy Land. Blaize, along with her other fairy friends and Pegasus, goes in search of Zandia. Will they be able to save Zandia from the old giant Jeb? Will they be able to bring her back to Fairy Land?

I found the book an entertaining and enchanting read. Kids will enjoy the magical moments and the adventure. All the fairies and characters are adorable and whether it is Jeb the giant, the old wise tree, Pegasus, Zoe, Zee, Brandon or Colt, they all make an impression on readers. The story has a lot of pace and movement which will keep readers glued to the book. Zandia, with all her wickedness, will stay in the minds of readers for a long, long time. The adventure is dreamy, whimsical and exhilarating, and that is what makes the book a winner.
