In Cheetah on The Wing 2: The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement, Mitchell Krautant, a former Marines Force Reconnaissance platoon soldier, takes readers through his experience during unjust solitary confinement in prison, his education, being homeless, to finding God and becoming a spiritual warrior. While the author has experienced inhumane and cruel treatment while in prison, this book explores his encounter with God and his angels and how they made him a priest in the spiritual fight of good vs evil. The story has strong spiritual underpinnings and can be read as the author’s spiritual journey, following his release from prison, and it offers an intimate view of prison life and man’s inhumanity to man, the cruelty of prison personnel, and the disregard for the law.

There are interesting episodes in Mitchell Krautant’s life that come out in this narrative. First, his incarceration was unjust. Second, he has the IQ of a genius. Three, he has been traumatized and has suffered an injury due to his inhumane conditions in prison. What is most fascinating is the spiritual journey the author undertakes after his release from prison, a journey that follows the growth of his faith and revelations about the spiritual life, God’s judgment, faith, and the character of evil. It is filled with adventure and I enjoyed how the author writes about his experience with the different characters in the story. Mitchell Krautant has had an experience of pain and a journey that is very inspiring and knows how to share those experiences with readers in a way that makes it gripping and engaging. The insightful writing and the powerful, spiritual message of The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement are the two elements that had me enthralled.

The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement is the second installment in the Cheetah on the Wing series by Mitchell Krautant. In this non-fiction book, a former Marines Force Reconnaissance platoon soldier shares his story and indicates how the inhumanity and criminal behavior of the prison staff led to his spiritual awakening and set him on a path to seeking God and divine justice. He was unnecessarily forced into the devastating experience of solitary confinement after an escape attempt, which resulted in severe head trauma that carried on for 7 years after he was released. He was in that hell for 1 1/2 years. Follow his story as he takes readers through his struggles and trauma, going to school and dropping out, becoming homeless, and then setting out on a religious path that led to enlightenment.

This is a story that is both heartbreaking and inspiring and it is painful to read about the inhumanity that the author suffered at the hands of ruthless prison guards. In this installment, the author shares his experience outside the prison walls. A person with the IQ of a genius, he shares his encounter with God, his angels, and how they made him a priest in the war against evil. Themes of religion, faith, God’s judgment, and life beyond the tomb are brilliantly explored. It is written in beautiful prose and the author opens many paths into his unique experience and intimacy with God in this book. The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement shows readers the evil in the prison system and a path to inner peace and freedom of spirit. The book is filled with insights and wisdom, and it is a spellbinding spiritual odyssey that will inspire the quest for God in readers.

Cheetah On The Wing 2: The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement by Mitchell Krautant is an intense story of the effects of solitary confinement. While serving time in an abusive prison, the author tried to escape, but it didn't work, so he was transferred to solitary confinement for a year and a half, which left him struggling seven years with head trauma, PTSD, and other psychological and emotional repercussions. Upon release from prison, he went to a VA hospital, where he received a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, which he strongly objected to. But even with such issues going on, he still managed to attend college and earn high marks, until the effects of his head injury began to interfere. Like so many suffering from personal problems, he found himself homeless. But life took a different turn when he began to drive around the States, finding adventure. There are several religious themes that are embedded in the story. The author explains that it's due to having only religious books to read while in isolation.

As you follow the author's personal and spiritual odyssey, you will be affected by the abuse he endured, and his honesty in portraying those in power, as well as his own actions. The reader will feel much empathy for Krautant as he relays his story, and possibly some confusion, and you will wonder how many others like him suffer similarly. He's also open about his visions of angels that came to him. This is part two of a multi-part story. There are many interesting things he learned and experienced during his travels. His spiritual growth was based on religious books, and his efforts to see his son are admirable. Sometimes the author's writing reads like a personal journal of eclectic thoughts or free-form thinking. The descriptions of the things he learned in college classes are intriguing. You get a sense of his mental state, and this work should be read with an open mind. If you're looking for a unique story that takes you inside the mind of someone with head trauma, Cheetah On The Wing 2: The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement by Mitchell Krautant is one to put on your reading list.

The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement is the second installment in Cheetah on The Wing series by Mitchell Krautant, an inspirational book that follows the author’s adventure with religion and that presents powerful lessons about God, judgment, faith, the universe, and evil. It is the story of a former Force Recon soldier who gets unjustly incarcerated and treated so inhumanely and with impunity. When he tries to escape, he is charged and sent to solitary confinement. After spending a year in the Monroe Correctional Facility — a place designed to punish those who had a mental illness — the author becomes knowledgeable. His experience of loneliness and pain slowly morphs into one that leads him to God, his angels, and to the knowledge of how the species of modern-day actually manufactured itself through the universe. This book is filled with lessons from the author’s spiritual odyssey.

Mitchell Krautant’s memoir is a spiritual classic. Just like the experience of Viktor Frankl in the Nazi concentration camp led him to write the classic work, Man’s Search for Meaning, this author’s prison experience, characterized by outright injustice and unlawful treatment, led him to craft this insightful work. It is interesting to notice how the author came to discover that he has the IQ of a genius after the IQ Test in prison. His efforts to complete his education lead to the understanding of calculus, which opens doors to his understanding of superior realities. The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement is the story of a man broken by prison experience, but a man who unlocks the truth about God and the universe through that experience. It is the story of the light at the end of the tunnel, at times heartbreaking, at times entertaining. But generally, it is an inspiring tale of survival and faith.

In Cheetah on The Wing 2: The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement, Mitchell Krautant shares his grueling experience of unjust solitary confinement and how the painful experience, characterized by heartless and cruel treatment, leads to head trauma. Being in solitary confinement for one and a half years and for unjust reasons gave him a lot of pain and the injury that was later diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenia at the VA Hospital, where he had surgery—but the diagnosis was wrong. He decided to go to College while staying at a nurse’s house. He was brilliant in school and excelled in Calculus 2, but his head trauma was relentlessly making life difficult for him, so he dropped out of school. Meanwhile, something even more interesting was happening to him—he gained powerful insights and truths while in solitary confinement and they are developed in this book.

What does it take to survive solitary confinement? That is the central question in this memoir and the author describes his experience of a corrupt prison system with unusual clarity and beauty of language. It is poignantly told, with images that are disturbing, religious insights that are revealing of deeper truths about life, and the author’s spiritual journey. While this is a book that has strong religious underpinnings, it is a powerful indictment of the prison system and the pain it inflicts on people, pain that follows them even after they leave jail. Mitchell Krautant writes in beautiful and confident prose and in a voice that is gripping. I enjoyed the spiritual insights and marveled at how well the story is told. Cheetah on The Wing 2: The Mental Ramifications of Solitary Confinement is a novel that will arouse sentiments of anger at the way human beings treat their kind in prisons. But what made it even more fascinating are the wonderful religious and spiritual insights the author shares with readers.
