Christmas In Whimsy by Clarissa J. Markiewicz is a feel-good holiday story. Lexi Moore is a reporter, and she works hard at keeping her life and work on track. She’s reporting on the Christmas spirit in Whimsy, but everything is about to come crashing down. Her job is under threat, her relationship all but over. Robin Russel wants to be an actress, but right now, she’s working at the Holiday Hutch as a sales clerk and barely making ends meet. A hike in the rent puts paid to her dreams and leaves her broken, waiting for the next disaster to strike. Meanwhile, Margot Koblieski keeps seeing her dead husband’s ghost, and it's interfering with her new relationship. She can't possibly enjoy the future when she’s constantly fighting the past. This is the tale of three women trying to live their lives and find the answers they need. Can the magic of Christmas and the spirit of Whimsy help them? Time is limited. Once the holidays are finished, the spell will disappear.

Christmas In Whimsy by Clarissa J. Markiewicz is a magical holiday read that will keep you guessing right to the very end. This is not your typical story for the genre, and it isn’t one where you can easily predict what’s going to happen. Very well-written, this is a page-turner that leaves you with a feeling of contentment. A combination of romance, magic, and suspense, it’s a fun read that will give you a wonderful break from the trials and tribulations of real life. The characters are real people with relatable lives, developed in a detailed manner throughout the story in a wonderfully warm and quirky world. Christmas In Whimsy is an engaging story with plenty going on to keep you entertained, a lovely form of escapism.
