Have you ever taken the time to critically evaluate the beliefs you hold or the depth of knowledge you have in various fields, or perhaps the reasons behind the foundation of both? While these are fundamental questions for the physical, intellectual, and even spiritual growth of human beings, very few have instinctively challenged themselves to find the answers to these questions − or even think about them. In his book Civil Strife United States Affairs, Steve Swazo delves deeper into this subject. He acknowledges and highlights the dynamic nature of the learning process in human beings, detailing its effect on the evolution of religion, politics, science, and their accompanying beliefs. Steve Swazo’s Civil Strife United States Affairs will appeal to enthusiasts of philosophical and political material. Swazo gives a compelling discourse by approaching the topics open-mindedly and exploring them exhaustively. He prompted me to reflect on my knowledge and beliefs, giving me a different view of life. Swazo takes readers through America’s political history from the 1800s, addressing the administrative, social, economic, racial, technological, and industrial milestones of the country and their significance. I particularly enjoyed the chapters he dedicated to war, which included World War II, the wars in Korea and Vietnam, the cold war era, and the conflicts in Latin America and the Middle East. I learned a great deal from this book.
