Likewise, Lande felt attracted to Tate, but she refused to break her engagement.

Lande was a busy woman with friends and family. A. Akinosho introduced as many obstacles as possible for Tate to overcome. Lande frustrated me in several respects. She remained friends with many of her ex-boyfriends, whom Tate saw as competition. She also tended to cross the line of decorum when dancing with other men. The effort that Tate puts into showing Lande his feelings was admirable. The intense, vivid imagery made every scene easy to envision. All the designs Lande developed were realistically portrayed, and I enjoyed watching them become a part of Tate’s home. Their character development included distinctive personality traits. Tate’s inner turmoil was painful after the mixed messages from Lande. The novel was unpredictable, with shocking revelations. Collide is a slow-burn romance featuring characters experiencing genuine relationship situations.
