Create Better Advertising: An original Madison Avenue Mad Man shares creative insights, tips and advice by Jay H. Heyman is a concise guide to advertising. He talks about advertising copy and content writing using short paragraphs to explain matters, such as what not to do with business cards. He uses pictures of advertisements that he created to illustrate his point. Heyman even provides suggestions for topics you can use in content writing. He uses examples such as Cilantro and his dog to assist. It is a very quick and friendly read for anyone who is involved in content writing or advertising.

I thought that Create Better Advertising by Jay H. Heyman was informative and compact. The photos of his old advertisements were useful and made it easier to see his point. Heyman even gives suggestions on topics to use for content writing, which I thought was very helpful. I loved the tone of the book, as it wasn't as formal as some marketing books and was easy to understand. It felt as if he was talking to a friend, rather than teaching a marketing class, which was refreshing. If you are an entrepreneur, working as a content marketer, or in the advertising business, this is a must-read. It could also be useful for bloggers and any other kind of writer as well.
