Creeples! by Patrick D. Pidgeon is funny, chaotic, and lures you in from the first page. Spigs, Peabo, and T-Ray are just three ordinary students that attend a not-so-ordinary school of kooky science. The school delivers opportunities for the students to experiment with strange science beyond their imaginations but they face a problem when the Genomic department faces being shut down. The three friends work together to devise a plan by creating a lab experiment to bring in funding. Their ultimate plan is to use a special serum which ends up creating six humanoid creatures with strange powers, creating chaos in the school. The creatures are called Creeples and they have a variety of magical abilities. As the students work to save the department, they uncover a shocking conspiracy to use the magic within the school for demonic purposes.

The story has a quirky and fun tone that is perfect for all ages. Patrick D. Pidgeon delivers a tale of conspiracy, humor, science, and adventure with three friends at the helm of great storytelling. The three primary characters drive the story forward with their goal to save the Genomic department by creating the Creeples. Social media is used in their need for crowdfunding which is thanks to the creation of the Creeples and weaves the internet in with Peabo's YouTube Channel and Yapper's constant tweets about news happening at the school. Science is key in the adventure that unfolds before them with experiments, discovery, and mischief brought to life in a way that will make young readers excited to explore science.

The Creeples are delightful characters with chaotic attitudes as magical mayhem takes over the school. Pidgeon gives fun tidbits about the Creeples - their descriptions, abilities, magical powers, limitations, and even their personalities. The six creations are vivid characters that drive the chaos with personality traits such as impatience, being stubborn, and being skittish. The adventure uses a conspiracy twist to set the kids up against a shadowy organization that tries to steal their creations. Creeples! is a fun, energetic, and thrilling adventure that brings to life the joy of science and chaos and delivers fast-paced humor.
