Illustrator and designer Fiona Sinclair is Creative Director of Fiona Sinclair Designs, an online shop that sells a range of illustrated homewares. She is also an Education Officer and Resource designer for Visual Communication Victoria, producing illustration and design resources for teachers.

About Sally-Anne Hayes

Sally-Anne Hayes is a regular visitor to Paris. She keeps a blog to share her photos and experiences: voilasally.blogspot.com. In 2013 Sally bought and restored an apartment in Ile St Louis, Paris.

Criss Crossing Paris by Fiona Sinclair and Sally-Anne Hayes is a beautiful travel memoir of Paris done in cross stitch that will make readers experience the essence, sights, and sounds of the place in a very unique way. The cross stitch illustrations are interpretations of their Parisian moments and these give a new life to the landmarks and familiar sights of the city, and also capture the unexpected moments that have charmed the authors in many ways. The charts and color keys will encourage readers to try out even the most difficult designs shown in the book, and they can make pictures to frame, a tote, pouches, buttons, a journal cover, and a pincushion using the tips and advice shared by the authors. So let us go into the world of hoops, floss, and counted threads and be amazed by the beauty of the place.
