"Crushing the Devil" will open your eyes and astound you with things about the devil you never thought were possible! This novel hit home for me because it came at the right time in my life to open my eyes to the real power we have from Jesus - one that we had all along to defeat this ugly beast! You will see just how ugly he is and learn his evil tricks as he tries to destroy your life. This book is a true interactive program for life for born again Christians that includes scripture, examples, action points that recap each chapter and prayers. You are given real tools to regain your faith and abolish his presence immediately. Some shocking things were revealed here that I never had taken into account with the inner workings of the devil, as his intent is to take you down, whether it is a full blown possession or the simple fact that you are stagnant in your career and not going anywhere. No matter at what stage of your life you are and what you are ailing from, there is a way to conquer it by affirming your place as a child of God and you can extinguish the devil by using the prayers, and the steps outlined in this book. Words have such power, and they are provided right here along with mind blowing statements to affirm. A very strong statement is given at the end of the book, for all of us to ponder at a time when our world is in such a state. It is one of hope if you choose to follow the steps in the book.

Pedro Okoro has been granted Divine Intervention to be able to write this book for you! He is one who has done his homework on this subject and knows how to go into battle and is well-armed with the armor of God as he shares these great messages with an easy to follow format. He writes with such strong voice on this powerful subject. The book was organized with such balance and reflection. Everything seemed to flow together. Yes, I can honestly say every bit of information here had impacted me in a way that will be reshaping my life for the better. I have printed out the action points and prayers that I have immediately put into practice too.

Spiritual warfare is being waged all around us and “Crushing the Devil: Your Guide to Spiritual Warfare and Victory in Christ” by Pedro Okoro is a wonderful book to help us better understand what is going on and how to win that war. Fear not, because if you cheat and turn to the back of the Bible before reading the whole thing, you’ll learn in Revelation that Jesus wins the war, so rest assured that God has given us the weapons we need to equip us in this battle. Anyone who has a relationship with God will be up against a battle with Satan because he desires to tear us away from God and he is very good at the evil that he does without making it seem like evil. Okoro speaks of the Adamic curse, generational/ancestral curses, and curses that one brings against oneself as a result of one's own actions as being part of the battle with Satan. I like Okoro’s final advice, “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.”

Well-written without the fancy academic or seminary wording, the book uses both scriptural references as well as personal experiences to make the author's point. This is a book that the average person can understand, relate to, and benefit from reading. Just because it is an easy read doesn’t mean it is a “light” read because we are talking about some serious issues here, but you’ll walk away from this book encouraged and filled with God’s truth.

Author Pedro Okoro was a practicing lawyer in Great Britain when he was faced with the fact that the good he was doing was the enemy of his best. He knew that he had to go where God wanted him to go, and one of the paths Author Okoro walked upon was writing this book, "Crushing the Devil: Your Guide to Spiritual Warfare and Victory in Christ". The lives of people like Peter Jones, Joseph Leek, and Mary Guthrie Essame are cited as being "millionaires in rags" for they lived like paupers but died leaving great amounts of money to charities and those in need. The author admonishes the reader to both pray and fast and to ask God why they were created. Author Okoro gives many helpful guides in the fight against Satan and tells the reader to continue their walk with God regardless of physical conditions. On page 155, the author encourages the reader not to worry about being morally perfect in the battle against evil, Satan, but just to have a heart that is fully after God. Don't give up, the battle with Satan is not over until God says it is.

"Crushing the Devil" is a well-written and well-edited book that is for the Christian readers or the potential Christian readers who know that they must live their faith 24/7. Author Pedro Okoro depicts man's fight against evil as one of going into battle. He even lists the spiritual armor one will need in this relentless crusade. PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens) is advocated and the author shows his in-depth knowledge of Scripture by numerous stories from both the New and Old Testaments. "Crushing the Devil" is not a feel-good book in the traditional sense, but the reader who takes it to heart will be deeply inspired.

In "Crushing the Devil: Your Guide to Spiritual Warfare and Victory in Christ" Pedro Okoro shares his personal witness with readers. The year was 2000 and God revealed he had a plan. Pedro puts emphasis on Creation and stresses that God is our creator. At the end of the chapters the reader will find Food For Reflection which has questions to ponder, Prayer Features has suggestions of things to pray about and Action Points makes suggestions of things to do.

In chapter 3 the author describes Spiritual Warfare and explains the elements of the armor of God. I very much believe there is a spiritual battle going on around us. Satan loves nothing better than to stir up a hurt feeling or memory we think we have buried. In today's world all Satan has to do is plant a temptation and we do the rest to ourselves.

This book is written in the form of a Bible Study with commentary. In each chapter the author uses stories and examples to demonstrate his main theme. The most important part of this book is the way the author introduces Christ. This book is well written, making the content easy to read and analyze. I highly suggest readers pick up a copy.
