Dear Girl Child by Carol Nkambule is a book written especially for women of all ages, not just girls. As women, we are often not really aware of our own worth. Carol touches on some important points, things we overlook, like jealousy, anger, believing God's word, strength, attitude, marriage, healing. Even when the destroyer comes at you, you need to be ready. She uses the opportunity to point out several verses from the Bible, specifically the beautiful verses pertaining to what love is: 1 Corinthians, verses 4-8, with its particularly beautiful words. She then deals with descriptions of this love, often sharing her own stories, and how it can be applied. Our personal relationship with God is vital to our spiritual growth. Learn how to be a woman of God from this book. Carol has shown plenty of insight into many areas we often overlook.

Dear Girl Child by Carol Nkambule deals with a subject close to our hearts. The love of God and how we show and feel love. As women, we are often thought to be second best, but God, in all His wisdom, created women to be nurturers and to love unconditionally. We are not always obedient though! This is certainly a different take on many traditional beliefs that women are lesser citizens. Well, maybe in the eyes of the world, but certainly not to God. God has everything we need and want, if we are only willing to ask, obey Him and follow His guidance and leading. Communicate with Him often, ask for His guidance and wait patiently on Him. You will see a dramatic improvement in your life and circumstances. With God, all things are possible. Certainly a book to keep with you and re-read often. There is so much in this book, all of it worth knowing. A delightfully inspirational book, which I think every woman should read.
