Designing For Wellness by Susie Frazier is a handy manual that will help readers to turn any room into their very own sanctuary. Wellness is not always about food and nutrition as the author stresses the importance of designing spaces that proactively support psychological well-being. Susie Frazier shares photos of her actual process and projects and makes readers aware of how they are emotionally and physically connected to the earth. The book encourages readers to focus on organic patterns and choosing natural materials as the participation in gathering and releasing of nature as part of the design process itself is a very individualized way of supporting the psyche. The designs shared are well-planned spaces that will remind them to reclaim, renew, and repeat.

The underlying spiritual tones, embracing flaws and imperfections, the positive effects of earth tones, choosing art that has meaning, and other concepts make Designing For Wellness a fabulous read. This should be on every bookshelf so that it reaches a wider audience and shows readers how to incorporate the beauty of the outdoors into interiors. Susie Frazier gives excellent tips and suggestions to make the living and workspace peaceful and positive, and create calm by decluttering spaces. The images give readers a lot of useful ideas on connecting with nature and earth and adopting a healthier lifestyle. I was totally impressed by the author's way of making readers understand the importance of integrating nature into their lives. There is a zen-like quality to Susie Frazier's images and words that will make you re-read the book many times and experience the magic of a wonderful lifestyle by making the right choices.
