Author Biography

Geoff Robberts is the pseudonym for a pair of concerned old white guys, who wrote the novel to focus on our views about the divisions in the country. We felt, and still do , that the so-called bell curve of political thought wasn't highest in the middle with gradually tapering edges. Instead, it quickly devolved into the shape of barbells, with more and more extremists, and fewer and fewer centrists.
We firmly believed that traditional media and its social counterparts had become unhinged, through the voices of cruel and misleading pundits.
We imagined a reaction from the man-in-the-middle so incensed by the hateful rhetoric that he becomes a vigilante. We followed his actions and the conspirators who joined him, seemingly in random ways.
Dominion 2024 – The Next Civil War is a sequel to Time of Ends – An Apocalyptic Political Polemic. That novel was complete, off being edited, before the Jan 6 insurrection. Our sad view is that no matter how we presented the fictional “People's Second Amendment Militia,” we could never have imagined storming Congress. For us, the pen is mightier.

Following the ousting of President Travvis E Donnelly from power, the US was run by a military junta. The People’s Second Amendment Militia (2 AM), an outlaw group dedicated to fighting far-right extremists, received intel about a planned operation by Donnelly’s loyalists called Allegiance America, to break him out of Camp David, Maryland where he was being detained. Despite the 2 AM efforts to curb the attempt, the rebel group Allegiance America succeeded in rescuing Donnelly, who went into hiding. The rebel group planned to reinstate Donnelly, who had undermined the country’s democracy. Traitors impede the junta’s efforts to get the US back to its democratic roots, as well as capture Donnelly. By joining forces with the 2 AM outlaws, will the junta save the US from the looming civil war being fomented by Donnelly and his minions? Find out in Dominion 2024: The Next Civil War by Geoff Robberts.

Geoff Robberts’ Dominion 2024 will appeal to lovers of political and conspiracy thrillers with a touch of action and adventure. Featuring a diverse band of insurrectionists, rebels, operatives, bureaucrats, and law enforcement agents, the author unfolds the account steadily through intriguing conversations, while maintaining a subtle tone throughout. The book provides a glimpse into current American society, highlighting its struggles while addressing issues such as gun violence, extremism, corruption, individual rights, and radicalization. The compelling way that Robberts brought out the cast’s emotions and qualities allowed me to connect with them. Bill Garrigan is a stealthy, daring, level-headed, calculating character that you can’t help but admire. As a sequel to Time of Ends, this book will be better savored after reading its predecessor.
