Ella Learns to Dance by Stenetta S Anthony is an inspiring picture book for young children. Ella the elephant loves to watch ballet on TV. She loves the way the dancers twirl and dance so effortlessly. Ella decides she is going to take a class and rushes to tell her friends. But Ella didn't quite get the response she was hoping for as they laughed at her. But this didn't put Ella off. Instead, it made her even more determined to become the best ballet dancer ever seen. Ella attends many classes and struggles to perform the basic moves. One day, some of the other dancers offer some useful advice to Ella. Will Ella finally be able to overcome her struggles and become the beautiful ballet dancer she desperately hopes to be?

Ella Learns to Dance was an enjoyable read and beautifully written. Stenetta S Anthony has a talent for writing captivating content for children. As well as being entertaining, the book is also inspiring and educational. It teaches children many important lessons, but the main one I picked up on was never to give up on your dreams because with the right people surrounding you, they can all be achieved. The illustrations have been professionally created and are adorable. Children will love them. This book will make the perfect bedtime story or even as a pick-me-up for children facing similar struggles to Ella. I can't recommend it enough and urge anyone with children to purchase a copy. You won't be disappointed!
