Everyday Mystic is my improbable mystic coming of age story. God speaks to me. Not that my BS in Economics, my MBA or my 18 years in finance at IBM would have prepared me in any way for these experiences. Aside from God I hear from Jesus, Mother Mary, St. Therese of Lisieux, angels and other enlightened beings. I am not religious and I don’t go to church. Jesus speaks to me outside of church…at home, in my car, at the nail salon. This is the point of Everyday Mystic. I am in no way special and God is talking to me so he must be talking to you too. My journey, as described in the book, is taken from private journal entries that were never meant to be shared. In fact, the journal entries would never even have been written were it not for the insistence of my mother. She encouraged me to document my revelations even though I was working full-time and taking care of my two children. Years later upon discovering these journals, my friend Linda Fallo-Mitchell, made it her mission to collaborate with me on a book so that others could learn from my spiritual journey.

The communications the author receives are universal, but they hold doctrines of Christianity and Catholicism. The fundamental precepts of their content are creation, obeying God, surrendering your life to God and Jesus, serving God, doing His will, humility, and faith in God. These are uplifting components if a person adheres to the spiritual teachings of the church, but unfortunately, if the reader is not inclined to church-based doctrines these may be foreign to them. Despite that detail, the book delivers a salient point; all-encompassing, unconditional love from the divine source is accessible to everyone and can potentially transform the world. It is exciting to consider that a change in intention can produce miracles which are not only life-changing but globally effective. This inspirational book is a powerful read and a splendid motivational tool for those who wish to enhance their spiritual lives.
