Greg's daring rescue of Cassie during Hurricane Amy was all caught on camera. And the scorching kiss Cassie gave Greg made all the TV viewers think they were an item, but they couldn't be more wrong. Greg came to Texas to investigate an organization that was funding some healthcare initiatives. Cassie is a doctor researching pheromones. Their encounters should have stopped after their interview with the news station that caught the rescue on camera and helped them get out of the flood. However, it seems that their fates are more intertwined when Greg’s investigation apparently has something to do with Cassie’s research. How everything came together will be revealed in Flood, Flash and Pheromones by Shelley K. Wall.

Flood, Flash and Pheromones is a nice, light, easy, and funny read. I’m pleased that with all the contemporary romances out there, Shelley K. Wall still managed to make a unique one in this story. The characters are likable and cute; even the villain was actually a likable character. The circumstances, like the research and the rescue, were plausible and the reasons behind the enemy’s actions were acceptable, not that I like violence but it made sense. The story and plot flowed easily, making it a good read. There was just enough suspense and action to make this book a page turner. I liked the conclusion very much, making it my favorite part of the book. I think this book will be appreciated by readers who like romantic books with a suspense twist.
