Creating free time is not about striving to do less, but rather doing your work practically and efficiently. Jenny Blake's book Free Time: Lose the Busywork, Love Your Business concerns finding pleasure in what you do and keeping to your principles. The book outlines three main points: Align, Design, and Assign. You have to analyze your values, manage your energy, and focus on your strengths. Then you can identify friction points and set goals. By having a defined structure, you can organize your time productively. Blake explains this in detail and gives clear examples. She has a sound grasp of business and it shows in her style of innovation. She also advises on how to develop strategies and how to organize teamwork effectively.

Sometimes we want to do everything ourselves, but business is about teamwork. Managers need to know when to delegate responsibilities and monitor results. With a well-structured plan, it will be easier to move forward as a team, which is an important consideration. Sometimes we forget how necessary the support of others is. Free Time is for readers who want to feel more comfortable in their work and are willing to innovate in their lives. The book has clear explanations and is well presented, with simple and pleasing aesthetics. The topics covered will encourage you to ask yourself the right questions. Jenny Blake's advice will help improve our way of working and demonstrate how to take advantage of opportunities.
