Author Biography

This book was not my idea. Strangely enough, the idea was brought to my attention by my deceased loved ones communicating with me through a medium. Being a dutiful son with extra time on my hands, courtesy of COVID, I undertook writing the book. Soon , the book became a calling---something I needed to do not for fame and fortune, but to let people know that evidence, such as that found in the book, suggests that our soul (our conscious self) survives our physical death; often visits living loved ones while manifested as an invisible spirit orb; leaves signs of their presence; resides in the amazing dimension we call Heaven, etc. Given that there is mounting evidence for there being an afterlife to which all souls are invited without judgment, we really should not fear our physical death, which appears to be a transitional rather than terminal event.

From Ashes to Afterlife: A Skeptic's Journey by R.J. Kaufman presents a captivating and thought-provoking non-fiction account that chronicles a series of life-altering experiences. Through a collection of personal anecdotes, Kaufman shares encounters with a spectral apparition, premonitions, shared nightmares, and compelling photographic evidence, all of which challenge his initial skepticism and lead him to embrace the existence of an afterlife. Notably, the author refrains from attributing these experiences to any extraordinary psychic abilities, offering a grounded perspective on his transformative journey. Moreover, the book delves into the potential societal implications of a widely accepted secular afterlife, exploring ongoing scientific studies aimed at establishing communication with spirits. By introducing the notion of an all-inclusive afterlife, Kaufman encourages readers to reflect on the profound impact such knowledge could have on our lives.

In From Ashes to Afterlife: A Skeptic's Journey R.J. Kaufman's writing exhibits a blend of both courage and panache, skillfully weaving together personal narratives and contemplations on the consequences of embracing a non-judgmental eternal existence. Putting one's visions of what a mainstream reader would call paranormal into the world as fact is not easy, and I applaud the author for sharing their stories. The book's well-crafted prose engages readers, guiding them through the author's skepticism, doubts, and eventual acceptance. Kaufman has done what my teenage daughter would call "keeping the receipts" as the inclusion of hyperlinks and photographs serves as bonafide evidence, making it challenging to dispute Kaufman's claims. These multimedia elements enhance the book's authenticity, lending credibility to the author's experiences. By skillfully combining personal storytelling with concrete evidence, Kaufman creates a persuasive narrative that enthralls readers and invites them to consider the possibility of an afterlife beyond traditional religious frameworks.

From Ashes to Afterlife: A Skeptic's Journey by R.J. Kaufman is an exploration of what lies beyond death. In a world where everything is believed to be black and white, coupled with countless scientific discoveries regarding the creation of the universe, many believe that life beyond death is nothing more than just a blank space where there is no sense of consciousness. Kaufman believed that there was nothing after the point of death until mysterious things kept happening in his life that he could no longer deny. From ghostly apparitions and strange warnings to signs that related to his deceased loved ones, he went from being a non-believer in spiritual beings to becoming convinced that there must be another life beyond death. This book will guide you into a new world where life after death is as possible as life itself.

From Ashes to Afterlife by R.J. Kaufman is an intriguing look at the spiritual world, where the author takes you on a personal journey that he illustrates by using the deaths of his loved ones, and how he came to accept that they are always with him. I loved how Kaufman openly accepts that death is an event to be embraced. I can see how this can help readers who are grieving to accept the deaths of their loved ones and provide hope that they will reunite one day. Not only does this book give a lot of examples of signs of life after death, but it also offers an excellent new perspective on death which I find refreshing.

From Ashes to Afterlife: A Skeptic's Journey by R.J. Kaufman is a non-fiction spiritual book about a radical change in the author's belief system based on events over a span of 40 years, which are viewed as interconnected and divinely influenced. Kaufman expands on his belief that death is transitory and that the soul continues to exist in the afterlife, his communicating with spirits through mediums, and the presence of the deceased in his life and loved ones. Kaufman describes the nature of the soul's energy, vibration, and its connection to different heavenly levels, and the afterlife as a place of reunion, among many other beliefs. From a disbeliever in his youth to a decisive belief in God from personal experiences, Kaufman's story is a beguiling inspection of the ever-after.

I am a hardline believer in science and if I'm being completely transparent, I was interested in From Ashes to Afterlife by R.J. Kaufman because of the suggestion that the non-locality and entanglement observed in quantum systems could imply the possibility of consciousness transcending physical boundaries or existing beyond death. See? My nerdiness runneth over. Kaufman's assessment of soul communication and a flourishing realm beyond our earthly sight is complex but the conversational nature of his writing style makes it accessible and easy to understand. This is his story and his belief system, and I respect it because the beauty of the natural world is in its ambiguity of origin. Kaufman is the type of person I'd love to sit down and chat with, but close enough is his book which feels like I have done just that. Very highly recommended.
