Girls Can Dream by Jasmine R. Owens is a children’s educational book about teaching girls they can be anything they want to be. This book uses the alphabet to display all different types of occupations/dream jobs your child can aspire to be. What's your child’s dream job from A to Z? Girls Can Dream will show young girls that the sky is the limit when it comes to dreams. I found this book to be highly educational because it shows the many dream jobs your child can achieve, even when the world we live in says otherwise.

Girls Can Dream displays a long list of occupations, beginning with each letter of the alphabet, and the illustrations perfectly reflect the occupation being discussed. I loved each of the outfit designs. If you want to broaden your child's mind then show this book to them, because they may never have heard of some of the jobs they can do. Jasmine R. Owens has put a lot of thought and effort into this book and has made it jam-packed with inspiration that many children could do with. I strongly feel this book should be shown to every young girl so that they will hopefully push past the stigmas surrounding women doing a “man’s job.” Jasmine R. Owens has done amazing work with Girls Can Dream and I am so glad I had the pleasure of reading it. I hope to read more books like Girls Can Dream in the future.
