Good Luck? Bad Luck? Who Knows? by Francis J. Shaw is a unique and thought-provoking self-help resource driven by philosophy in an exploration of our choices, changes, and experiences. The book explores life as a journey using a metaphor of viewing life as a stage to delve into the question of is what we experience in life based on good luck or bad luck or are there no answers. Choices impact how we view the world around us and our search for deeper meaning in our lives has us seeking out a greater reason behind our choices, experiences, and moments. Shaw explores the concept of the luck factor with thought-provoking ideas that introduce you to seemingly lucky people from history. The goal is to help you discover for yourself the most important moment in life and has the hope that you'll come out of reading this book facing life with renewed hope and certainty.

The book is primarily aimed at those potentially facing a crossroads in their life or seeking an answer to life's questions. Rooted in a philosophical viewpoint and with a unique approach, the book encourages you to look deeper within yourself as part of your journey toward fulfilling life in a way that's suited to you. The book has a personal touch to it as Francis J. Shaw uses experiences and opinions to show you the personal journey this book is sending you on. Shaw is adamant about the book not being a how-to guide for life's betterment as life doesn't fall under a checklist; instead, it comes with struggles and fears that push you to ask questions about why these moments happen. Good Luck? Bad Luck? Who Knows? encourages you to look at happiness, right and wrong, and the role luck could play in your life while pushing you to ask yourself what you believe. The various concepts open your eyes through different examples that aren't there to convince you one way or another but simply to guide you to your own conclusions.

Good Luck? Bad Luck? Who Knows? is a unique and engaging resource that isn't like other self-help books in that it doesn't give you a checklist or even a set path, but uses philosophical thought-providing explorations that engage you to think about choices, changes, and experiences (good and bad) within your life and to explore what may be behind these moments.
