Children love playing games with their grandparents, no matter what the time of day. In Grandma, I Need a Hug by Colleen Driscoll, Oliver loves playing the hugging game with his grandmother at bedtime. This book reflects the love, emotional fulfillment, and connection between a child and his grandmother. After reading one of Oliver's favorite bedtime stories, he embarks on a challenge to see how many hugs he can get from his grandmother that night. Children will enjoy reading this book because bedtime is a special time to bond. Throughout this book, they will witness the relationship and beauty that has been created between Oliver and his grandmother over the years.

Grandma, I Need a Hug by Colleen Driscoll is a wonderful book that will be one of your child's favorites that they will tell their friends about. Your child will discover that not only does this book provide those special treasured moments but will reflect the love, hugs, and tickles that only a grandparent can give. Just like the child, grandparents cherish these exceptional times with their grandchildren because it fulfills the need to be wanted on both sides. Children and grandparents need each other in ways that are different from a parent-child relationship. All relationships are important for a child's development and cognitive function but it's those that are closest to them that have the most influence and provide the greatest impact. If you're looking for a great book to help you begin your nightly routine, look no further. Highly recommended.
